Notes :
(1) Tour was originally planned to run on 24th October 1998, starting from Brundall and travelling via the Wensum Curve. The strange starting point was because at the time the stock was on hire, weekdays, to Anglia.
(2) Car. No. S60118 'Tunbridge Wells' led on first part of tour from Bromley South to Bury St Edmunds.
(3) Tour was supposed to pick up at Cambridge although it was not in the timings, a stop was arranged for Ely with tour participants using service trains Cambridge to Ely. Richard Woods comments: "the train passed through Cambridge on the through lines as there was no platform available, leaving those intending to join waving from the platform as we passed. I can't remember what happened at Ely, but we were stuck at Dullingham for a while due to unforeseen circumstances" (Alan Sheppard however confirms the Dullingham stop was due to the organiser being in conversation with the signalman trying to sort out a pick up for the passengers left at Cambridge - eventually the stop was agreed at Ely, and those passengers affected made their way by service train from Cambridge to Ely).

(4) Train terminated at Kings Cross as stock was being stabled overnight at Bounds Green. This was due to another Branch Line tour being run the day after starting at Bowes Park and stock could not get back to Hastings and return the following day.
