(4) Original spec. was for train to travel via Hyndland Up & Down Goods Loop, Glasgow Central Low Level and Rutherglen West Jn to Larkfield Jn and Lugton Loop after reversal at Yoker. This had to be abandoned after flooding of the Argyle Line. Also, it was planned for train to visit the End of Line at Kincardine Scottish Power Station but agreement was only given for traversal to limit at Longannet. As the trip to Kincardine was the only reason for leaving the main line at Charlestown Jn, it was decided not to waste time on the branch at all to ensure an earlier arrival back at Linlithgow.
