(1) Train was reported as 420 minutes late back to Preston - details of why is
required. Route & loco confirmation also required.
One report suggests the stock was delayed at Carlisle owing to the failure of 47701 then the 8F slipped to a stand on Wilpshire bank (between Clitheroe & Blackburn). Rescue is thought to have taken place using a class 57.
