(3) The late start at Edinburgh in the morning was caused by every single through platform at Waverley being blocked up by trains. Platforms 20 & 21 both had 2 car Scotrail 158s stabled in them overnight! One of them was eventually moved out of the way simply to allow the charter train stock to arrive.
