Notes :
(1) NIR 8113 was originally planned to work the whole tour, but didn't have the requisite modification to the DSD system installed.
(2) Stock was formed in numerical order on departure from Belfast. Five of the six were ex-BR coaches.
Former numbers were - 180 (E13475), 181 (E13487), 300 (NIR 822, 934), 301 (M5207), 302 (M5135), 460 (M9382).
(3) Loco propelling.

The train ran generally to time, it was never more than 10/15 minutes down and spirited running was the order of the day. Due to “easy” timings between Inchicore and Connolly the train arrived back in Dublin approx 10 minutes early. As per usual MRSI practice, the Station Inspector at Connolly agreed that the train would depart north as soon as the loco change was complete. In this instance it was at 19.53 and the train ran under caution signals to Howth Juction whilst following an “all stops” DART service. Actual arrival into Portadown was sufficiently early that Belfast Control allowed the train to precede the 21.25 local service and arrival in Belfast Central was at 22.00
