Travelling down to Folkestone Harbour on the Blue Pullman was a great experience being the first time that I had ever travelled to Folkestone Harbour itself and more interesting by Blue Pullman. It has been more than ten years since I last visited Folkestone Harbour, although I had gone by car previously. To see the state of the station now compared to my last visit, I was saddened by how much the state of the station had declined. I believe this is due to the fact that this is down to the opening of the Channel Tunnel.

I won’t go too much into detail but besides that it was a great day out and this was my first (and possibly my last ever) trip to the Folkestone Harbour Branch. The Christmas Lunch was great, nice and hot with a four-course dinner and Tea and Biscuits on the return trip home. This is definitely one day to remember.
