Notes:
(1) John Clifford comments: This was the annual trip organised by Shepherd Neame for the Faversham Hop Festival. There was to have been another one the following day but it was cancelled due to engineering work between Canterbury West & Minster. The usual format was followed of a journey to Faversham one way & then back another with an afternoon trip to Ramsgate & back. The trains kept roughly to time. There was a late start from Faversham in the afternoon due to the platform being occupied by a late departing Victoria stopper. On the way back the easy schedule meant that we got back early despite being held by signals outside Faversham.
