(2) John Clifford comments: This was a rare outing for 35028 on a non-VSOE train. It was run in connection with Eastleigh 100 open day. The highlight was a run of only just over 49min. to pass Worting Jn. The 'Atlantic Coast Express' was allowed 50mins to this point & we had to start from Plat. 19 at Waterloo whereas the ACE would have left from Plat 11. An unusual route back all helped to make this a good day out.
