Notes :
(1) 80217 only in the formation when 48151 was hauling the train.
(2) Train was delayed in the Staines area due to a broken rail.
(3) Loco change was booked at Willesden South West Sidings but actually took place close to Acton Wells Signal Box. Route confirmation is required from Clapham Junction back to Alton on last leg with 47500 - above is as booked. Chris Bracey comments: time keeping was erratic with a number of little things and the fact that 48151 was restricted to 50 miles per hour made it difficult to keep to time. At Clapham Junction it was about 40mins late on the return.
(4) It was afterwards reported that 48151 suffered a hot side rod bearing on this tour, leaving it unavailable for some subsequent railtour commitments.
