Notes : 
(1) Train was diverted off booked route, due to a Container train derailment between Camden Road and Gospel Oak. 
(2) Booked route was: Latchmere Jn - Clapham Junction - Balham - Selhurst - East Croydon - Redhill - Tonbridge - Headcorn - Ashford International. 
(3) The return leg had a late start from Canterbury West due to a fatality delaying South Eastern Trains' services. 
(4) The tour reversed at Folkestone Central owing to a brake failure on the last vehicle (staff coach 21269) which could not be isolated. Booked route was regained at Swanley. 
(5) Due to late running, the return leg made an additional stop at West Brompton to set down passengers. Finsbury Park passengers de-trained at Alexandra Palace. The tour was then terminated at Stevenage. This was due to major engineering works taking place at Peterborough. Howard Parker comments: Only platforms 2 & 3 were available at Peterborough with access from the south only, thus preventing the special from running round there.  The ECS from the special went forward from Stevenage to stable overnight at Ely. Passengers for Huntingdon and Peterborough caught the 23.47 service train from Stevenage formed of an 8 car 365, one of which was 365502.
(6) Off tour options: visit to Leeds Castle or to the Romney, Hythe & Dymchuch Railway, with locos 9 'Sir Winston Churchill' and 11 'Black Prince' in use.
