(3) This was a special train to celebrate 150 years since the Seaford - Brighton line opened. There was a similar one on the previous day hauled by 70013 'Oliver Cromwell'. That one sold out quickly, so this was arranged as well. It had originally been planned that this train was also to be hauled by 70013, but as that engine was not available 44932 was substituted. As it happened 70013 suffered a fault on the previous day’s tour and could not have been used. This tour was originally advertised to start from / terminate at London Waterloo.
