(3) It is reported that due to the failure of booked loco 86259, the tour was worked by 87002 from Euston to Wembley Yard, for 47746 forward.
(4) It had been hoped to use the Upperby Curve to bypass Carlisle in order to reduce the delay, but this was refused by the local Signalling Manager.
(5) Confirmation is required that the train did not take the booked route via Weedon and terminated at Watford Junction.
