(5) At Harrogate, the booked 'Through Line' was blocked by a DMU being stabled
on it. It had been agreed that the unit would be moved before we arrived but no
driver was available.
(6) At Carnforth Up & Down Goods Loop, instead of running into Carnforth the
first time, the decision was made at add an additional 'Bonus' loco, which would
have meant double-headed Class 37 action for the section to Heysham & the last run
back into Carnforth. However, the train was then too long, so 37706 was removed
& 37516 added. Passengers who required the first Carnforth stop were instructed
to leave at Preston as the train would not do the first Carnforth call.
(7) This tour was originally advertised to be hauled by a Colas Class 56 T&T a WCR
Class 47.
