(1) Banked by 67024 from London Victoria to Grosvenor Bridge.
(2) This tour was run to commemorate the life of John Farrow who founded UK Railtours and who died in 2020. A memorial service was held in Sherborne Abbey.
(3) John Clifford's comments: On the outward journey we ran roughly to time. Unusually for a steam hauled special train we were routed on the Fast Line from Byfleet to Worting Jn. There was a stop at Salisbury Tunnel Jn to allow the 10.08 Westbury to Eastleigh East Yard freight to cross our path. On the return journey the empties were slightly late arriving at Sherborne, hence a late departure. At Gillingham we duly passed the 15.20 London Waterloo to Exeter St Davids and were expecting to pass the 19.25 Basingstoke to Yeovil Junction at Tisbury Loop. However that train had terminated at Salisbury due to a lack of crew. An early arrival at the Salisbury water stop ensued. From Salisbury we were booked to follow the 16.25 Exeter St Davids to London Waterloo but this train had also terminated a Salisbury, so we left on time for another largely unchecked run. Again we had the luxury of using the Fast Line from Worting Jn to Woking. The remainder of the run ran without problems apart from catching up the 19.37 Weybridge to London Waterloo on the Hounslow loop. Arrival at London Victoria was 6 minutes early.
