fishplate, so train had to return to Ferryhill South Jn then reverse & proceed
along Sdg.2 to reach the single line heading towards Thrislington Access
Headshunt.
(6) Train reversed on Down Goods at South Bank Jn instead of Grangetown
Sig.G.266 (timed as Shell Jn, but actually was the DG-UG Crossover at
Grangetown), due to late running.
(7) Although several attempts were made, the Loop at Glengarnock could not be
set.
