Six Bells Junction

Notes :
(1) The outward leg was heavily delayed due to reports of a train hitting something in the Severn Tunnel. Elliot Stuffins comments: The train came to a halt between Pilning and the tunnel and after a while proceeded to the signal immediately outside the tunnel. After a G.W.R. mini-H.S.T. had carried out an inspection of the Up line and emerged from the tunnel, we reversed and crossed over on to the Up line, proceeding as far as Pilning, at what I'm guessing is signal NT1314, but can't be sure. We then reversed again and ran wrong line through the tunnel, and were about 90 minutes late as a result of this. Although some of that time was regained en route to Llandudno. The return leg was 'retimed' to depart Llandudno at 16.30, instead of 16.01. We departed at 16.32 and were already back on time by Chester.
