Notes :
(1) It is reported "on reaching Blisworth a lengthy manoeuvre entailed various shunting movements to get the train across the line onto the Stratford-upon-Avon & Midland Junction railway. The engine then had to be turned on the turntable and reconnected before setting off..."
(2) 4F 4122 may have banked the train from Blisworth towards Tiffield.
(3) Route & loco confirmation required (e.g. did 4167 work through to Weston-super-Mare or was there another loco change?). It is believed the return journey was by service trains?

The advertising leaflet carries an LMS caution: "Passengers holding day or half-day excursion tickets by special trains are not allowed to take any luggage except small handbags, luncheon baskets, or other small articles intended for the passenger's use during the day."
