(1) This tour traversed the Thorpe Arch circular railway. Nick Catford comments: I can’t find any reference to this tour anywhere. The line had closed to passengers the previous year and the factory closed in April 1958 so it was a few months after that. Perhaps it was something arranged locally or not by one of the usual groups.?
