Notes :
(1) Bruce Nathan comments: The itinerary
stated motive power Derby to Stoke would be Class 2P 4-4-0 and 4F 0-6-0 but
instead we had 6P5F 2-6-0 Derby to Macclesfield and two 4MT 2-6-4 tanks
Macclesfield to Stoke.
(2) A GUV was added between Macclesfield and Stoke when the observation car was
at the front of the train in order to avoid possible damage to the observation
car windows by coal dropping from the engine’s bunker.
