Notes :
(1) Posters at the side entrance to London Marylebone station tell the story of
the station over the years. There is a picture of the above train and of the
celebratory meal for 750 guests taking place. The text says that loco No. 861
hauled the first of three special trains out of Marylebone station, six days
before the public service commenced. The loco carried a Great Central Railway
coat of arms on the smoke box door and was decked out with flags.
