Notes :
(1) Route & traction confirmation required - above is from booked timings. Seen on the Wembley loop line. The tour timing sheet carried the following comments;
'British Railways have requested that passengers leave the train at London Bridge while the coaches are being reversed over track which is not permitted to bear passenger carrying stock'.
'As the tour is taking longer than was estimated at first, passengers may leave the train at Marylebone or St. Pancras. From the route there is no special interest in the final part'.
(2) Andrew Fairholm suggests traction may have been a DMU however a photo published in The Transport Treasury book 'Traction Times' shows an unidentified D84xx at Kensington Olympia on what is said to be this train. In terms of the loco identity reference is made to the use of D8408 the following day on a British Railways organised Day Excursion, with the thought the same loco might have been used?
