(1) For the European Cup-Winners Cup Final 1st leg (final score: Rangers 0:2 Fiorentina). This was the first year of this competition and the only year that the Final was played over two legs. In the second leg, (at 'Stadio Comunale' in Florence), Fiorentina won 2:1, thus winning 4:1 on aggregate.
(2) Route & loco confirmation required - photograph seen of three specials in Ibrox station, one hauled by 42276. One is reported to have come from Motherwell another from Gourock and the third (which ran into the old Govan branch platform) from Glasgow Central.
