Notes :
(1)
This tour was a special half day excursion. At Lancaster on the outward leg
seven coaches (LMS corridor) were detached and these formed
1Z44, the SLS/MLS
'Furness Rail Tour'. That tour terminated at Morecambe Promenade and the coaches
were then booked to be shunted back onto this tour for the return to Manchester,
however late running meant this did not happen and the trains returned
separately.
