performance, 18mph at Shap summit, 28 mph at Ais Gill.
(3) John A. Thickitt comments: When the
outbound train arrived at Sheffield, I witnessed the waiting group's
disappointment; 60145 had been substituted for the advertised A4. However,
someone had made an effort, as the engine was fitted with nameplates.
(4) Photographic evidence exists of 60145 at Leeds carrying headcode 1X20 - was
this used throughout?
