Notes :
(1) This ten coach train covered 280 miles in just under twelve hours. Although the locomotives were not in the best of condition the hard work of the crews brought the train home only about thirty minutes late, although they never really given the chance to get the best out of the locomotives.
(2) Train was delayed at Preston EL by problems with the water column.
(3) 44874 was used to release 70013 from the train at Windermere.
(4) A vacuum fault was discovered on 45342 which required swapping 45342 & 45156 around, putting the extremely polished 45156 next to the coaches, much to the disappointment of the lineside photographers.
