Notes :
(1) Andrew Fairholm suggests a RCTS photo listing gives the running date for this tour to be April 26th however John Hinson has a photograph of the train by N.L. Cadge which is dated 25/04/1970, supporting the original running date suggested of 25th April, not 26th and this is further backed up by Chris Totty who re-confirms both his records and the tour brochure are dated 25th April. Chris adds: Included in the price of the ticket were a full English breakfast, which was served after departure from Reading at 8:30 a.m. and a 3-course roast turkey dinner which was served at 7:00 p.m. Alas wines etc were not included in the ticket!
