Notes :
(1) This eight coach train's destination was Bressingham Hall (coaches from/to Diss), amongst other things this being the home of a number of preserved steam locomotives.
(2) Amended route - original was via South Kirkby Jn - Moorthorpe Jn - Dearne Jn - Wath Road Jn but this was changed shortly before the tour, the brochure remaining per the original route with an insert bearing times & amended mileages for the revised route.
(3) On the day diversion via Beighton Jn was due to over-running engineering work. The diversion direct from Clay Cross South Jn to Nottingham was an attempt to catch-back lost time.
(4) An RCTS photo list suggests the loco used was 9007 'Pinza' however this is incorrect. The Chronicles of Napier lists 9007 as working 1E17, 09.30 Aberdeen to Kings Cross from Edinburgh on this date, and 9012 on this outing.
