(1) Vivian Jones comments: at Newquay we were met on the platform by the Lord Mayor of Newquay who gave each passenger a small pot of Cornish clotted cream. Pick up points definitely included Filton, Avonmouth, Shirehampton, Sea Mills, Clifton Down, Redland, Montpelier, Stapleton Road, Lawrence Hill, Bristol Temple Meads, Bedminster, Parson Street. I travelled in the 9th coach of 12, which was a Mark 1.
