Notes :
(1) Vivian Jones comments: A Brush type 4 (class 47) brought the train to Totnes, ran round, took the 12 coaches to Totnes Riverside site (no station there at the time) it then uncoupled and handed over to steam locos 4555 & 1638 (double headed) who took the train to Buckfastleigh. At Buckfastleigh there were three choices: a coach to Buckfastleigh Abbey, stay at Buckfastleigh station, or coach to boat trip on river Dart. GWR Pannier tank 1638 took the train back single handed with 12 coaches from Buckfastleigh to Totnes Riverside site. Then a brush type 4 (class 47) took us on to Paignton where we had free time and picked up the boat trip people to go back. Pick up points in the Bristol area were; Filton, Avonmouth, Shirehampton, Sea Mills, Clifton Down, Redland, Montpelier, Stapleton Road, Lawrence Hill, Bristol Temple Meads, Bedminster, Parson Street, Nailsea, Yatton, Weston Milton, Weston-super-Mare.
