Notes :
(1) Alex Cunningham provides the following description of the departure from
Glasgow: "The 11- coach train left from two platforms at Glasgow Queen Street
High Level with 2 x type 2's on the front portion and 1 x type 2 at the
bufferstop end of the rear portion. Thus the train went up Cowlairs bank with
two locos on the front." Were the returning type 2's the same as used on the
outward leg?
(2) Given by Alex Cunningham as "Inverness" but the loco change may have been on
the station avoiding curve as per outward?
