Notes :
(1) Howard Parker comments: Bristol and Exeter were both advertised as alternative destinations to Plymouth. Westerns seen in service were 1013, 1021 (Down Cornish Riviera), 1028, 1051 (0930 Paddington to Penzance), 1058 (1745 to Bristol), 1063, 1071 (1733 stopper to Penzance), and withdrawn at Laira were 1016, 1025, 1027, 1034, 1046, 1064. The up Cornish Riviera was class 50 hauled as was the 1440 to Paddington (50033) and 1640 to Paddington (50048).  The 1505 to Leeds was hauled by 45047 and the 1620 arrival from Manchester by 45029. 47060 (the loco for the outward excursion) took the 1620 to Birmingham.
