(1) Further details required (i.e. how many trips were made & timings). Bill Jamieson travelled on a service that left Carlisle station at about 13.15
(2) An additional DMU shuttle ran as below. Bill Jamieson confirms the main reason for using this was to view a long line of dumped class 24s in Carlisle New Yard. In the order he noted them, they were: 24102, 24019, 24014, 24073, 24105, 24109, 24111, 24072, 24066, 24001, 24148, 24013, 24090 (still in BR green), 24007 & 24108.
