Notes :
(1) Route confirmation required. Peter Hall comments: I have a purchased
photograph of 24082+another taken in daylight in what I am sure is Platform 2 at
Derby. Also I have a note in my Dore records for 04/12/76 which reads
‘24087+24082 Loughborough-Crewe Great Central Railtour (return leg via Dore
Curve)’. In addition in pencil it says ‘outward via Woodhead’. Thus I would
conclude the locomotives were 24082+24087 outward and 24087+24082 on the
return. Outward route was thus probably Guide Bridge-Woodhead-Barrow
Hill-Derby. Return presumably Derby-Hope-Marple-Woodley-Guide Bridge-Stockport.
