(1) Route confirmation required. Off train options were;
Group 1. Leave the train at York for sightseeing
Group 2. Leave the train at York and join the BR (ER) steam-hauled special via Leeds and Harrogate back to York
Group 3. Leave the train at Chesterfield for road coaches to the Midland Railway Centre and Crich Tramway, returning to Chesterfield for the train home
Group 4. Leave the train at Chesterfield for road coaches for Barlow, Hathersage, Ladybower Reservoir, Bradwell, Baslow, Chatsworth House & Bakewell before returning to Chesterfield for the train home.
