Notes :
(1) Route confirmation required - above SR routing is per the tour
brochure. With regards to routing on the LMR the brochure stated 'passengers
will be well acquainted with the ex-Cheshire Lines Committee route to Manchester
and the electrified ex-London and North Western route to London'. Adrian Bullock
adds: I recall that on the return, due to late running, the tour was diverted up
the Trent valley with passengers for Birmingham, including myself, getting off
at Rugby to catch a BR service train for which our tour tickets were valid
(87014 according to my records).
(2) Richard Boyd comments: Not quite sure what happened on the return but I had
84002 from Willesden to Crewe, for a couple of electrics back to Manchester.
