Notes :
(1) This tour was a repeat of that run on 31st March 1979 due to the high demand for seats. Martin McLean believed this tour was organised by the Plymouth Railway Circle and was called the 'White Rose' however both Richard Matthews, Alan Gears & Roger Geach all confirm it was run by the Honiton Round Table. It was a fund-raiser (along with the original tour on 31/03/79) for the Exeter Hospital scanner appeal. There was a PRC bookstall on board.
(2) There was a break at Dinting for a visit to the Railway Centre, during which time 6115 'Scots Guardsman' was giving brake-van rides in the Centre.
(3) 47170 was also noted 'on a return York-Norwich return charter' - details anyone please?
