(1) A visit to Steamtown, Carnforth was included. 5305 was passed on the 'Cumbrian Mountain Express' at Horton-in-Ribblesdale. Alan Gears comments: 5305 on the Cumbrian Mountains express was held for us to photograph on the signal at Horton-in-Ribblesdale as our class 47 was sick and we were running late. All hell broke loose on the Monday as some steam passengers missed their connections.
