Notes :
(1) Off train options were;
Tour A: Preston or Blackpool only.
Tour B: Grand Lake District and Blackpool tour - leaving the train at Preston for road coaches to Blackpool via the Lake District, including a steamer ride on Lake Windermere and a trip on the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway.
Tour C: Ullswater & Blackpool tour - by road coaches from Preston, rejoining the train at Blackpool.
(2) Eddie Humphrey recalls it was a class 47 on the train at Peterborough as the train over-ran the platform and had to set-back. It is not confirmed if this was on the outward or return leg.
