Peter White suggests this just might be a tour run by either Plymouth or Honiton Round Table on 7th April 1979 - this used 46011 Plymouth to Manchester for 76024 & 76027 to Tinsley Yard for 40156 forward. 46048 was the return engine. It could however have been a repeat of the same itinerary and which just happened to use the same 76's - thoughts/comments anyone?
