Notes:
(1) The
unofficial "Whistler" headboard the train carried was fairly new at the time &
appeared on several trains of the period.
Headcode was quoted as 1L02
and 1L65 but Harry Harper believes 1L02 to be correct.
(2) Nick Bartlett comments that VoR No.7 has a large Fleur-de-Lys headboard.
Harry Harper adds: A very wet day & there was hand sanding from the front buffer
of VoR 7. I didn't record the exact times but recollect Aberystwyth - Devils
Bridge took about 2 hours.
