(1) Route confirmation required. David Ingham comments: I photographed 777 hauling the train at Saddleworth, Northenden, Guilden Sutton and Chester and 5000 hauling the train at Stalybridge. This train swapped steam locos with the Welsh Marches Pullman operating on the same day.
