Notes :
(1) This tour was originally advertised to
start and finish at London Kings Cross but shortly before the running date
passengers received a letter from SLOA informing them that 'due to severe
operating difficulties on the ECML' this train would operate from Euston on the
WCML instead. Passengers from joining points on the ECML were to use service
trains as detailed in the timing section.
(2) With the exception of the tour ticket all paperwork carried the 'Cumbrian
Mountain Express' name. The tour ticket had the tour named as 'The Cumbrian
Mountain Pullman' in error.
