(1) Adrian Nicholls comments: the train was wrongly routed at Redhill onto the up through line which the driver took but realised his mistake and stopped at 08.46 The train then set back behind the signal on the Tonbridge branch at 08.48 and tried a second attempt at calling at Redhill (actual times shown below are the platform call).
