(1) This tour utilised a rake of six BR coaches and London Transport electric locomotive 'Sarah Siddons'. The locomotive was limited to a maximum speed of 60mph, having been modified to operate on BR's third rail network as opposed to LT's four rail system.
(2) At Havant all passengers were required to leave the train which was then to shunt to the through line for photographs.
