Notes :
(1) 40122 had defective heating and it is reported that the guard requested its
replacement at Newcastle however after a two-hour delay in which Gateshead
fitters were unable to rectify the problem, the train continued.
(2) The booked Dunfermline - Thornton Yard - Kirkcaldy circular run
was cut out due to very late running.
(3) Vice unavailable 2x class 26!
