(1) Route & loco confirmation required. Jim Porter comments: I photographed 60009 Union of South Africa at 10.35 passing through Woking with a steam special. While speaking to another enthusiast he informed me that the loco and train would be returning from Waterloo through Staines that night on its way to the Mid Hants Railway for overnight shedding. A second photo was taken at 21.10 that night at Staines Station as it passed through tender first.
