Notes :
(1) Originally reported by Nicholas Braddick (who states he joined/left at Potters Bar) as 90021 between London & York (and return) with 56123 for the rest of the tour, it was then advised as having been cancelled i.e. did not run. Webmaster comment: I have also now seen a comment in a Hertfordshire Railtours brochure detailing future tours which stated; 'Because of vandalism, the Ashington route is no longer available to passenger trains, and consequently 'The Blyth Spirit' tour which was planned for Tuesday 28th August, will now not be running. If you had booked, you will already have received a personal letter from us asking whether you wish to transfer to some other trip, or to receive a full refund'.
