Due to increasing operational problems, not least obtaining serviceable stock, this was the last Carlisle division's "ADEX" tours. Three of the former organisers, Derek Thompson, Brian Howson and Steve Leyland formed Lancaster Railtours as a commercial concern and ran several trips catering for the "general public" market in the early-mid 90's.
