Notes :
(1) Originally uploaded as 56037, revised to 56057 but now revised back to 56037! Pete Turtle comments: 56037 (stabled at Brighton) was allocated to work 1Z16 from Brighton to Victoria, however it wouldn’t start, luckily this was discovered quite early and 56057 was procured from Stewarts Lane. It followed 1Z15 from Stoats Nest Jn then worked 1Z16. 56037 was later made operational and actually did work 1Z19.
(2) Regarding the train operator, Pete Turtle comments: You have the operator as BRC&W Type 3 Preservation Group, that is not quite right, it was a very odd ball arrangement with the Network South East Charter Train Unit, the financial risk of the trains was with NSE. The Preservation Group did all the booking arrangements took the money, paid for the advertising but retained only a commission on each of the ticket sales. I am not aware of any other tour being run like this. (I was treasurer at the time!!).
(3) Headboard carried by 33050 read ''Construction Crompton Cessation'.
(4) Route confirmation required, above is taken from booked timings.
