(1) Alan Holmewood's ticket stated it was valid from Golders Green or Euston by special train. Robin Warne adds: Rare track on the tour – the loop between Euston (Northern Line, Bank Branch) and Kings Cross (Piccadilly Line).  This was used both ways.  Also the St Mary’s Curve, between Aldgate East and Shadwell, again used both ways.  And three depots – starting in Golders Green Depot, and calling at Northfields Depot and then New Cross Depot on the East London Line (where some sort of Open Day appeared to be in progress). Although not mentioned in the booklet, I seem to remember we went through the reversing siding at Barons Court, in one end and out the other, on our westbound run! I note that there seems to have been a big delay between leaving Northfields Depot and arriving at Northfields station.  This rings a faint bell in my mind, but I cannot recall what the reason was. I cannot remember what stock was used.  Probably 1959 stock, but it may have been the ‘Starlight Express’ set of 1938 stock (sorry; it was a long time ago!).
